Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in ethnomusicology and musicology, including special topics courses. Current courses include: American Popular Music (MUSC 113), Introduction to Music (MUSC 111), Music in World Cultures (MUSC 116), Music and the Immigrant Experience (MUSC 114), and Music Research and Bibliography (MUSC 771).

Recipient of the 2023 College of Creative Arts Outstanding Teaching Award

Conducted an advanced seminar on "Popular Music, Disability, and Deaf Culture" for the B.A. program in anthropology. This seminar consisted of the following sections: Ethnologie und Musikwissenschaft (for anthropology majors), Thematic Areas of Social and Cultural Anthropology (for anthropology minors), and MA.Ethn.1: Themenbereiche der Ethnologie (for master's students in anthropology).

Served as instructor of record for World Music Cultures (MUH2512) , American Roots Music (MUH305), and Modern Popular Music (MUH2019). This consisted of choosing and developing course materials, teaching lectures, designing assignments, and evaluating student progress 

Served as Co-Director of the Florida State University Andean Ensemble and Director of the World Music Ensemble Summer Music Program 

Served as a tutorial assistant for twenty-eight courses within the fields of anthropology, English, environmental studies, history, humanities, sociology, leadership and social change, literature, mythology, music, sports management, theatre, and writing. Performed class checking, educational assistant duties, and assisted other tutors within the department

Served as Voice Instructor for Culver Academy's Summer School Program and as Theater and Voice Instructor for Brilliant Minds Arts and Learning Center, LLC
